The Mask

I bought this mask to try out a few ideas, but ended up playing about wearing it for a few selfie nudes...

Taken using a Lensbaby Composer with fisheye optic.

Woodland Ramblings

When heading out with the camera i often try and also find a really quiet area where i can strip off for a while. Partly this is due to the lovely feeling of being naked outdoors, but it also gives me the chance to try out a few photos, as can be seen in other posts. These are a few from an evening ramble in some quite woodland not too far from where i live.

Enjoying rambling in the woods and looking for a good spot for photos.

A reasonably artistic photo.

Taking time to relax.

When it's a peaceful evening it's easy to relax a little too much...

Take My Hand!

I was looking for a slightly sinister look as i was wearing a mask. Although i like the image i think it needs something a bit more, such as a weapon of some kind, to really work as i wanted. As i was experimenting a bit at the time i later did a clothed photo using a knife that i think works well.

This is the clothed photo based on the above idea. It made quite a change to be putting clothes on rather than taking them off..

Chillin in the late winter sun...

A few weeks ago i wandered out on a sunny day. It was rare at that time as we'd had over three months of almost constant rain. Parts of England, though not around me) were badly flooded so a sunny day was something of a relief from it all.

I wandered around some woodland for a while. It was very calm and quiet so i took the chance to strip off and enjoy the warmth that was coming from the late winter sun that countered the chill in the air. It was good to feel the air on my body.

I also used this opportunity to try out a few arty nudes using the new Lensbaby fisheye optic i'd recently bought. Here's a couple that i think worked quite well.

In For The Kill!

This is the last of the recent photo shoot. It's one of the ones i had planned in my mind to do from when i first saw this graffiti.
It was great fun interacting with the graffiti. It helped generate a few ideas, and they could sometime be developed fro more photo shoots.

As with the others, this photo was made with the help of my good mate Gary, who can be found here.

My other photography blog can be seen here.
